About Medical Management

  • Medical management is not a procedure. However, many patients don’t need surgery. They need to know which medications to take to control their allergies and nasal inflammation.
  • We help patients understand how much OTC or prescription medication they should take and when. They also need to know when to come in for flare-ups.
  • We also have a strong network of providers in other specialties to refer to if needed.
  • We commonly refer patients to providers specializing in dizziness, TMD, migraines, and neck pain

Some doctors suggest that my cough might be related to the post nasal drip which causes inflammation of the bronchial tubes. This might have been the cause of my persistent cough especially after a respiration infection. After the surgery, I immediately feel I am not as nearly congested.My kids recently had respiratory infections which passed to me and I barely coughed. The symptoms were much milder than before the surgery.I also appreciate Dr. Atkins’ honesty and not over promise. I was told before the surgery that nothing is 100%.
